My name is Jan Antons, I was born in Duesseldorf, Germany. I moved to Kamloops, BC Canada in 1997 and attended Kamloops Senior Secondary School for Grade 11 & 12. After graduation from high school, I attended the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops from 1999-2002.

After completing my diploma in Computer Systems: Operations and Management (CSOM)  at the Thompson Rivers University, I worked for 5 years for the BC Lottery Corp as a Systems Administrator looking after corporate servers and workstations. I was responsible for maintaining Microsoft Exchange Servers, Blackberry Enterprise Servers, Backup Servers and workstations onsite as well as off site.

After 5 years at the BC Lottery Corp, I decided to upgrade my education and attended the University of Calgary in 2007. At the same time I was named Head Trainer & Equipment Manaher of the Men's Varsity Hockey Team. In 2008 I was named assstant Trainer of the Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League (WHL) while completing my studies ta the University of Calgary. I was also responsible for team building with the Calgary Hitmen. Since then I have led many team building activities for other teams and companies. I have also created my own team building activities book that is now being used by many teams and organizations.

In 2010, I graduated from the University of Calgary with a BCOMM degree and a major in Management Information Systems.

In 2010/2011 I was employed by the Calgary Flames as an Associate Digital Producer looking after the Calgary Flames/Hitmen websites, digital marketing campaigns as well as Social Media. I was also responsible for the hockey team's Facebook and Twitter sites.

In 2011/2012  I moved into the IT department of the Calgary Flames and took on the job of an IT/Network Administrator. My main responsibilities include maintaining the corporate IT infrastructure (incl. MS exchange, BES, VMWare, Network etc...). I am also responsible for the day to day support of employees (helpdesk, after hour support, event coverage) and procurement of new compueter systems and servers.

 In 2012, I moved back to Kamloops, BC and started working for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation again as a Senior Systems Administrator. My main responsibilities include Citrix, Sharepoint, Active Directory and Microsoft Exhange

I volunteer a lot of my spare time in the local sports community in Kamloops. I am currently the Assistant Trainer of the Kamloops Blazers (whl), Equipment Manager of Canada's National Sledge Hockey Team, Trainer of the Kamloops Broncos as well as Trainer of the Kamloops Venom.

In 2007 I was the chairperson of the Founders Cup National Junior B Lacrosse Championships.

I also specialize in team building. I have helped many companies and teams form successful teams through team building activities (references available).
